Bogart expands its brand portfolio with the acquisition of Rose et Marius, a prestige fragrance brand headquartered in Aix-en-Provence, France.

WHO: Created in 2012, Rose et Marius is based in Provenance and develops handmade fragrances produced using natural raw material. The products are retailed in its boutique in Aix-en-Provence, France, and other distribution points in the country and abroad.

Founded in 1975, Bogart is an independent French family-owned group listed on Euronext Paris specializing in designing, producing, and distributing perfumes and cosmetics. Its activities are grouped into two divisions: Bogart Fragrances & Cosmetics, with a portfolio of ten owned and licensed brands of perfumes, skincare, makeup, and haircare products; and Bogart Beauty Retail, with its 487 selective perfumes and drugstores.

WHY: After several strategic acquisitions strengthening its footprint in the retail sector in Germany, France, Belgium, and Slovakia, Bogart is pursuing its external growth strategy. Bogart will lend Rose et Marius its manufacturer expertise, integrated distribution network, and the resources the handmade perfume brand needs to expand internationally.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: “Bogart will provide Rose et Marius with its expertise as a manufacturer, its integrated distribution network (April stores) and the resources it needs to expand internationally,” said the group in a statement.
